Always welcome. We can actually get to my soldering table.

I just was working on rock sliders for the TF2, as they are fairly simple i decided to braze them, grabbed the torch, turned on the oxy then the acetylene and discovered the tank was empty, so, as much as I hate it, switched to MAPP, then ran out of that stuff after 2 joints. Now I am frustrated and may just say the hell with it today.

Bump, I'm getting ready to hit the hobby stores.
Do any of you guys see a problem with what I have here?

I'm going to try and build a bec harness like WarTraders, I think I have this right...

The lipo plugs into the male deans
The esc plugs into the female deans
Since I bought 2 of the rx bypass adaptors, I do not have to worry about cutting any wires. (basically, like the diagram)
The servo will be powered from the bec
The rx will be powered by the esc, I do not need to remove the esc red wire that goes into the rx.

Question about the harness.
Could I have 3 female plugs on one end of the harness and it would not matter which one I plugged a bec or the esc into since they are all feeding off the same lipo (male end)?

WarTrade has 2 bec's going into 1 set of bullet plugs, but if his 1 set of bullet plugs was 2 deans (1 for each bec) could he plug the esc into one of them and the 2nd bec male dean into what is currently his esc plug?

john it doesnt matter what plug goes to what.

from the lipo the harness just needs to split 3 ways if you are using 2 becs and a esc. if each one of the 3 outputs in the harness was switched around it wouldnt matter.

frack... the cut and shut prolines i bought off the bst are crap. i took them off the motoworks wheels last night to discover the beads are cut all to hell from being pinched by the beadlocks.

this morning i tried my best to glue them back together.. but i just dunno. the rubber around the area of the beads is all deformed from being pinched by the beadlocks which makes it almost impossible to match up correctly.

i got them patched up best i could and they are drying, but i dont have alot of confidence in them.

So I ran the revo on 6S last night down the street for the first time. It got going so fast that it lifted up in the air from the wind and flipped over backwards on its roof and slid 100 ft down the street. Holy crap! I think the tires I've got are ballooning too much and so it's just too high up in the air. I bought these pre-glued so I couldn't tape them. I'll tape the street shoes before I put them on, maybe that will help. I might need to change the angle of the spoiler in back too.

I do have to say...it was AWESOME!!!

Yea, I've been doing some work on my 1:1 yota pickup.. Its coming along. Gotta get it done so I can go on the camping trip! I'm not sure how capable it will be but, a hell of a lot better than my stock 4runner.
Jason, what do you think? Can I get through some of that shit with 4" suspension lift (IFS bracket lift) and 2" body lift, 33" tires and gobs of horsepower?

cliffs is definitely more of a day thing since there isnt any camping. if its a camping thing i know the badlands has camping right outside the park.

i would loooove to go to the badlands, ive missed the opportunity every year.
