Nah... It just for show. It's done. Well, I might add some scale padding & paint but, I'm just going to stick that to a body and it will look cool. Its for my drifter which I will now refer to as my slippery scaler.. I don't want to be a drifter.

Ughggghhh.... Work. Gotta pay them bills.

I got my trampede. I dremeled the chassis a little to fit the 2400kv motor. The rest of the parts should be here today. Maybe I'll be able to screw around with it a little. I'm tired. Maybe I'll sit on the couch and swap in the SS screws.

Yup.. I'm out; at a bocce/bags tournament. Plus I don't have a vehicle built now.

im going to try to make it but i wont know for sure till friday after work. i might be tuckered out and just not feel like going.

looks like a cool run, if i do end up going i'm gonna try to be there early to help set-up the course.

...dreading the walk with all the gear to the pit area.

i noticed one really cool thing in the scrc scale rules, an assisted winch is a 5 point credit to the person doing the assisting.

The walks not that bad, and I'm a portly fellow.

I saw that about the winch. I'm not sure that's will be the case with this event since its all time penalties, no points.

I'm gonna try to make it.

I bought the RC Screwz SS screw kit for my stampede. Never again. Not even half of the screws are the right length.. The ones that are right, there aren't enough of them. So, now I have mix & matched bolts everywhere. The damn box says what its specifically for. It even has a picture of said vehicle on the box.
It looks like they just shoved a variety of bolts into a box with fewer compartments than different bolt types. Theres no way for the bolts to get mixed up in the box because of the tight fitting snap lid but, they are indeed scattered everywhere. Waste of $30

I avoid SS hardware like the plague with my fast RCs. A few rollovers and half get way bent and it throws off handling,alignment, and suspension performance. The standard hardened hardware tends to stay pretty darn straight until an extreme impact then will snap clean. Dremel a flat spot, unscrew out of the plastic, and replace. Just my exp.

I won't be back in town till Sunday night or Monday afternoon.

We have had Thunderstorms everyday we have been here, so not doing much but a little target practice and some 4wheeler riding in the mud. I did find a tractor and we did finalize a floor plan for the house.
