I was so excited when they first announced this but then realized it'd run RC4WD gears... I'll wait and see what happens with others.

Holy price tag. I wonder if I can make new hardened shafts to run RRP 32p gears all around on that thing. Meh.

So

Since I have been gone an really have no clue..

What is the plan for the rest of this summer. I know Roselle woods needs some work. And as you guys said it does seam kinda easy. But it can be made much harder.

Busse Has a lot more options. A Lot!!!

Bmx or Rock Race track does has some scale type courses

Foster? Have you found away to get of that bridge. I wasn't a fan of the slab.

I do have my rock. I have redone most of it.

Lets hear

anyone have an idea of what something like a Holmes Pro Custom 540 on 3s, 4s or 6s would do compared to the CC BL 5700 motor on 3s for my foff?

Holmes Pro Custom 540
10t = 6526 rpm/volt
15t = 4317 rpm/volt

Holmes Hobbies / Holmes Bikes :: Motors :: Brushed :: Holmes Pro Custom 540

right now were on a little break until we start the ttc sometime in august i think.

the only spot we have right now that im not tired of is busse, but its just a rock course we drive our scalers on. i think we need scaler courses that have some rock and other stuff for some variety.

i would like to find spots that have a little bit of everything, like ALOT of the pictures of the spots the scrc guys use. im sure we have stuff like that up here, we just need to literally branch out and look beyond our backyards.

I'm excited to bash the go-fasts this weekend

I might have to change out the shock oil.. my shocks are pretty soft & weak feeling. If the nose drags on the brakes then it probably wont like jumps very much.

On my way home from the car show in palatine, I stop at long grove forest preserve and spent a good amount of time exploring areas within walking distance at several different locations within the forest preserve and didnt come up with much. Mostly just fairly dense woods and a lot of fallen trees & debree.

I'll keep looking when I can.
