just got out of Batman, it pretty good.
Now sitting in a bar having an IPA waiting for my dinner... blackened salmon club and house made cheese fries! And, a cute off the clock waitress just sat down next to me at the bar and is chatting with the staff... life is good.

i built my hot bodies d8 shocks last night and all i can say is they are awesomely smooth, and absolutely huge in diameter. i got a set of 4 for around 60 bucks on ebay, so its a better and cheaper alternative to the prolines.

i also got the cups and rod ends today that the writeup/sticky on rcshortcourse reco's, it should vastly improve the feel and handling from what i've read.

edit... so i said this exact thing this morning... i just really wanted you guys to know how damn nice them d8 shocks is. ;)

actually my shocks are from the Ve8, but i read the shocks are the same.

i never really had a thing for the 8th scale stuff until associated came out with the short course full bodied sc8 rig. that thing was cool but a little too steep for the minimal time i would have used it.

And now they have the SC8e. If I ever get another real 1/8th it will be the RC8Be.

A very upsetting day at the lake today. First of all i left to late about 8 then i put my fishing boat in the water with a ni-MH in place of the ni-cd that was supplied. Anyway fishing boat ran great for about 30 sec. then went into a tight circle then died. Had the G to see how the red lights would work at night so i decided to use it as recovery, now its getting dark and a little hard to see so i'm trying to bump the fishing boat back and i end up jammed on top of it with prop out of the water. Now its 9 and i hurry home to get a fishing pole. No luck. My boats are sitting in the middle of the lake. Came home to get my lawn chair and a few cold ones to camp out. Going to wait until the boat rental is open. I do not want you guys seeing me on the news. Man drowns trying to get his TOY boats. Stay tuned.

I'm eyeing the rc8be as well. I'm not against a nitro as well.
