ive always liked associated shocks. bleeder screws must be a new thing with them.

so i finally got around to mounting the infamous d8 shocks last night.

i assumed i had the traxxas parts tree that the sticky on rcshortcourse says should be used to help mount the shocks to the towers, but i dont... so i dug around in all my hardware and found some tamiya standoffs that will work.

the slash is now waaay more buttery in its suspension. i can drop it from about a foot and it softly cushes out. before it was a SLAP.

Once you guys get a couple races in, you'll have to come down here to race. They run races on the weekends here. Friday night practice.

Racing tonight was fun.. I started really strong and it was all down hill from there but, I'm pretty happy with my performance overall.. Finished 7th out of 9 in the A main due to a broken chassis. Yep, snapped right in half on the last lap of the last race. Sucky. Oh well, I'll get it back together.

Thanks Trey for hangin' out

Someone selling vintage rc10s
Up for sale is my Team Associted RC10 collection. I was going to restore a buggy and a T like I had when I was younger. I am way too busy with scale crawlers to take on the restoration, so I would like to pass them on to someone who might do the same. I have two RC10 buggies and two RC10T trucks.

One is an OG A stamped chassis gold pan buggy-complete roller

One is a Championship Edition stealth trans gold pan buggy-complete roller

One is a first gen RC10T black pan truck-complete roller

Last is an RC10T2 black pan truck-complete roller

All trucks are complete rollers. There are extra wheels, tires, motors, a few misc parts, an old school novak esc, and a Futaba sport radio with receiver. Mostly old school stuff, but these are old school cars. All cars have bodies, but they're pretty beat....

Some of the cars have some aftermarket stuff. Rpm Mip Proline. All cars are in good shape considering the age.

I am asking $325 shipped to the conus. Would be interested in trade for a good drift car ARTR or scale stuff/trucks...

Thanks for looking guys!!

You ever have one of those WTF moments, when you see a rig again that, you had sold? I still get a lot of comments and inquires on this guy. This and my old blue EB were my favorite Rigs.

Yeah, snapped the chassis and the upper mount/brace. Buying the RPM bumper/skid setup is a 99% for sure fix.. I just didn't do it. I'm pretty sure everyone else did. But, now I have those parts on the way.

I don't think I'll be at the track tomorrow.. I'm not feeling very well today for some reason.. Not to mention the sc10 is busted and my stampede is still busted. I need to pull the diff out and look at it. With the rear end off, I can put the spur/drive into the diff, spin that, it spins the diff, I hold both wheels and it still spins inside the diff. The hexes arent stripped, the driveshafts arent loose... Its something inside the diff I think.
