The 1.55 Rock Country tires are the ideal size (4"x1.14") for me I think... but RC4WD doesn't mention a compound which leads me to believe it's an older, hard compound.

The MTZ's are probably one of the best, stickiest tires you mentioned. The baja claws are one of the biggest besides the TSL.. The stompers are cool as hell but, arent the best performers.. Probably the samd for the rock countrys. Id just go with what you think will fit & look the best. C1 is the ultimate scale class.. I wouldn't worry about winning so much as having a killer truck.

i got the 1.9 mtz's and they are sticky. i got the tf2 wheels and tires if anybody is interested. i also got the 1.7 iroks as well, but i was dissappointed when they werent the new compound. the stompers are prolly the neatest c1 tire. i like the ooold 1.9 mudslingers but the compound is hella stiff, although the aggressive lugs make up for that a little. |

I just don't want Trey to win every C1 comp! What are you running them on? I like the 1.55 Mud Slingers. They look like Baja Claws and are in the x3 compound.

I'm currently building with 1.7 Dualies. Each wheel is .75" wide. I bought a set of the 1.7 IROKs and they jest look silly on the wheels. The closer I can get to 1" wide the better they'd look IMHO. |

I think MTZ's would look killer as a dually and perform great with the sticky compound.

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat me too. because they are narrow and not too aggressive... I think they're the best looking choice. I'm going to order 4 and if I like them, I'll get the other 2. I already have to sell 4 1.55 IROKs... or build another rig! EDIT: They're on their way. Last edited by johnnyh66; 09-05-2012 at 11:29 AM. |

Damnit... I want a New C1 truck but, the scalers block is preventing me from coming up with something I'll be happy with. I really like the TF2 drivetrain but, I don't want a yota. If I rush it, then I'll just end up with something junky so, I'll have to wait and see.

I just ordered 4 1.55 MTZ's and contacted someone about used 1.55 Stompers. I also just found this little guy. skipeee used it for his UK agent build. The plugs are on the side so when decased... tiny. I still want to switch to FlySky when LosiKid get's the hack versions back in stock... unless Chuck hacks me one!

It's fine with me. I put the voltage regulator and switched to a sky lipo 1000mah 3s. I'm going to hack my sons when it comes in.
