I think its just a rule. My esc can be setup for no reverse. Its just a track rule as far as I know. I'll learn more tomorrow. I remember all the buggys not having reverse though.

Reverse isn't allowed by ROAR I believe.

Well gents, There is NO reverse in buggy racing. Memory serving it started way back because the cheaper ESC's didn't have reverse and many felt it an unfair advantage so no reverse.

That and when the whole esc thing really got started I remember a few people trying to hit the brakes on their buggy only to find themselves reversing through the field.... I honest to god saw that happen a couple times. You wanna make a guy mad. Not only hack him goin into the first turn do it in reverse!!!

Now the truth prolly has nothing to do with either of those and I will look like a total fool. (least it won't be the first time at that rodeo)

Just unloaded my race ready and got a cool 2.2 scaler. Really nice tube and bumper work

Scale Designs International
The Trail Doctor XLs are too hard IMO. Side by side with most of the RC4WD tires, they also lack in scale appearance. I just swapped the SDIs for MT Mud Countries on my blue Hilux. They look much better and stick better while looking like a real AT tire.

no reverse because you can get in the way after you wreck or get hung up by potentially backing into a guy who is running clean. its a much better incentive to drive without crashing imo.

i only have the super soft xls so i was just assuming the ultra soft normal xls were softer. my xls seem to be similar to the rc4wd x3 compound.

they look plenty scale to me. other than the voids being a little bigger they look like the special service tsl's i have on my zuk.
