Well, I snapped a rc4wd xvd like a twig today. Nobody has the wraith universals in stock and I dont want to order another set of rc4wd xvd's so, I had to order some shit off of ebay. I think they are hot racing cvd's for wraith. Dont know shit about them but I gotta have it running by the next event and I figured that would be better than a stock dogbone setup because I twisted my original pair of those already.
Part of the problem is rc4wd sucks and the other part of the problem is I forgot to tune down my steering EPA's from when we were on the rocks

i got my axial uni's from rpp. placed the order while they were out of stock but as soon as he gets them in you are already reserved a set.

ive learned the hard way rc4wd isnt the best for anything drivetrain related...

I snapped the outshaft in my Rock Rider trans as soon as it hit the ground... on the plus side, Buxom Melons was kicking ass today! She was climbing that steep muddy gully like it was a walk in the park!

Now if I can just keep her together through a full comp

If I had the money, there would be!

Seriously though, I want to finish the Rock Rider (Daisy Cutter) and get Buxom Melons sorted before I start on Hera. Trust me, it's been hard to resist stripping the other trucks and just hacking it together... I almost put my Wraith axles on it last night.
Buxom Melons has had a series of broken parts recently... it's killing me. I've practically striped down the F'n Bastard. I think I'm going to pull the trans from the F'n Bastard next and put it in the Rock Rider because I blew the output in it today... as well as a failure with the fricken MIP CVD's in Melons! I haven't looked at it yet but I think it's another broken pin!
Maybe to much steering... I keep moving my one Futuba rx from rig to rig because I like the tx more than my Spektrum/Losi's.

Yeah I like my futuba,I like the melons but would love to see hear come back to life personally I'd use scx10 axels under it,I think with the pumpkin in the middle puts a lot less strain on the drive train.

I've thought about stripping the F'n B all the way down to build Hera. The axles have Beef Toobs, VP HS knuckles, Alum CHubs, Axial CVD's (1 broke now), Axial lockout/straight axle and a DMG 4 link truss.

My problem is ambition
I'm trying to build 4 trucks but have enough parts for 2.5!

Ok.. I have the HR wraith cvd's ordered that im going to try out and hopefully get the truck to the next event but, I also ordered the universals from RPP so, I'll have those once they are in stock.

I know what you mean man, I love my 4PL but, I cant stand swapping Rx's so now Ive got 3 Rx's. Shits getting expensive!

Well, my Wraith is back from the dead. Dried out the Futaba RX and it is as good as new. Yanked that shitty Tekin out and went back to my BR-XL and a 35T on 4S. I broke a hole in the blazer body so going back to my panels for now. Kurt is getting me a new Blazer body and one of the first JK bodies off the mold in January, so I will paint them up and see how they look.

Hope to get the Taco's Steering sorted tonight or tomorrow.

Are we still trying for a GTG on Monday?
