SCRC comp is cancelled for tomorrow due to attendance being very low. I was just told today that I'm going to The Dells tomorrow, staying at Mt. Olympus.

roller status! i need about 3/8's more wb than ricks wraith links, so for now i just put long traxxas rod ends on one end of the rears to kick the wb where i want it.

i went ahead and put the gmade shocks on. they would work, but jebus they kill the look imo.

i got the wraith-specific driveshafts with the extended yokes, but fawking mip went and tapped them for axial screw pins and not the traxxas im used too. (traxxas has much better/bigger threads and allen size)

and on top of that they don't include the screw pins or mip lube and thread lock anymore. bastages...

gonna decase my elecs and conformal everything now. the big 7990 hitec wont fit unless i cut the servo mounting tabs off the chassis and drill the servo base plate for some tradtional servo mounts. might just run a normal sized hitec for the time being. ;)

im gonna use a 7950 while i ponder modding the chassis to fit the 7990. aint really modding as much as cutting off 2 tabs and drilling 2 holes... but i got lots to do.

I've been fabbing & machining the hell outta shit today.. I started at 6am and i'm freakin tired but, I have a few things I need to finish up before I update my build for the evening.

Is there anything I need to know about using brake line for my winch line guide? There will be quite a few bends in it.. I hope that'll work. Eh.

Worked for me on the Clod, Rick. Basically used it to guide the winch line around the bottom of the motor.

Man everyone has been fabbing shit up today. I just got done updating the front end of my new rig, adding a mount of the winch servo, putting together a light bar, and then added supports to mount a radiator. I was worried because I was going to have to braze near some existing brazed joints, but ended up being a non-issue. Now I think I am going to try and braze some nuts onto the frame for attachment points, this should be um interesting.

Still gotta work on my interior, my ax2 mounting and my CMS.

Oh and need to determine what sort of line to use for winch line.

Been G6'n it today. I'm worn out. Started at noon, made it through 140 gates without touching one! Only one penalty winch all day. Crawled until about 6. We've had dinner and are about to start stage 2...the night crawl. Friggin crazy. I'll find some pics to post tomorrow.

It's almost midnight, just finished a 50 gate night stage that ran onto the beach of Lake Ontario. Waiting for the rest of the drivers to check in.
