Since my one servo blew up with a cloud of smoke, think I am going to try this one...

Savox SV-1272SG Digital "Monster Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage) [SAV-SV-1272SG] | Radios & Accessories - A Main Hobbies

416oz of torque, speed is good, and it has waterproofing... and 50 bucks less than the 7950 from Hitec, albeit with a bit less torque.

thx buddy! me and liz left at 8am, had bfast at bob evans, then took non-toll roads all the way back, and made it home right at 4:30. not at all a bad trip for how epic that spot was.

ps. if i could go back and do one thing differently... i wouldnt have smoked before course 3 & 4...

gonna start a teardown of timmy tonight, need to read up on the 4link thread and see if i can tune my geometry a little bit better. seeing ricks and kano's jeeps work like they did with the upper chassis link mounts raised up made me a believer.

epic fun times.

That is an informative read.

I messed with my links and got everything sorted out. I also have some new ideas for the chassis because of the links for dummies thread too.

They did a raffle and everyone there won a prize until all the tickets were called, and then they put all the tickets back into the bucket and then everyone won a prize again. Few people won TF2's, rc4wd trailers, mayhem wheels, light bars, t-shirts, all the sponsor supplied stuff.. Trophies.. Shit load of prizes.. A shit load.

Yeah, it was legit.

They gave away prizes for at least 2 hours straight. Like I said, they pulled 2 rounds of tickets. Everyone literally won something twice. What they gave away was random. One guy pulled something out of the pile of goodies, another guy called a number and that person won that prize. There were a lot of vendors that gave $250 & $500 worth of product and title sponsor (rc4wd) had $1000's worth of stuff and all of that was what was given away. Tons of stuff.

The did a great job with the whole thing. Pig roast one night that was well worth the money. Pizza night was good. Everyone there was like minded cool people. The terrain was insane. We were in like a huge rock/forest canyon looking thing that was like 100ft to get to the top.. Flowing stream, huge boulders.. Nice weather all weekend. It was the shit.

Man I had a BLAST! It was so cool watching you guys participate in some Kick Ass events and drive through the most EXTREAM courses known to man. I know I did not do good but I felt like a winner by just being a part of NIRC. Thanks for the experience.

I'm sure we all have our battle scars. I know of a few bombed differentials, busted axle shafts, broken outputs, grenaded bearings, etc.

Here's mine.. This body was un-run before this event. Many scratches, busted fender, gouges, etc.

Drove off a cliff at one point while Jason, Liz & I were putting a beating on our trucks on sunday. Took a hit on the rear spare tire cage work. I like the battle scar, might keep it like that.

I sheared an axle pin half way through the final C2 course, 3 wheeled it as far as I could from there. Good times.
