I didn't see any comp coverage or anything. Maybe it was a mistake that he posted it? Maybe it's just a part of a bigger, or more video's?

The 10 min metal masher interview was pretty cool, it showed all his rigs and the cool stuff that guy came up with.

Edit: the video is back up in the video section as of 10:12am today.

I achieved my desired ride height, I am super happy with this thing so far, can't stop looking at it. Haha

Waiting on parts to arrive so I can finish it up. Should be ready for a shakedown run within a few weeks.

nothing, current rails have holes drilled and some bits clearanced for old setups. if im gonna tear it all down again i might as well put it back together with frame rails that are fresh.

I think I'm finished with the rock rat. I don't want it anymore.

Lol.. That'll happen.

Is it that you don't want it or that you want something new?

I imagine he has something else in mind.

Id be interested in the Currie's off the rat if you go that route.

It's unfinished. I don't like that and I don't feel like finishing it. I'll need another C3 but I'm not sure what yet. Something that looks a little more realistic. I really liked that modified Matzilla truggy in the classifieds the other day.

I think the balance of scale & functionality is hardest to pull off in a C3 rig. I'm still waiting for the "right" rig to either appear or I'll have one of the chassis builder make it. I don't think I want to go through the trouble of scratch building a C3 chassis. Too much like work.

Yeah I'd agree with that. I'm going to do a little looking around.

Trey, I thought you were happy with the Rock Rat's performance?

I was thinking about ECSC next year and betting that many of the top contenders will have new, purpose built rigs... and I'll be running my same 3. meh.

I am happy with its performance...just not its unfinished look. Wires running through the cab. Never got the links right. I dunno. I'm just not that excited about it any more and don't feel like finishing it.
