| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat True. You can buy two sets of the axials for the price of these. Looks like they've got them for the SCX axels as well. I wonder if you can get replacement pins for them. I bet that's the point that will take the most abuse. The ball and cup shouldn't degrade that much as long as you keep them lubed up. |

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat Ha, welcome to my world. I have the attention span of a gnat so I always have at least 2 projects started, right now I have 4. Plus the rebuild of the Wraith axles (slop in the bearings) and rebuild of the Mog front end (broken axle brace.). (EDIT) and I never seem to drive mine so, I am not sure with I am doing. | Re: NIRC. Chit Chat just focus on one at a time! or you could do it assembly line style where you build all the axles, all the shocks, trannies, etc. i got my fast eddie bearings, gonna start tearing down timmy and the wraith, which reminds me i really need to get some of those dlux no slop chub washer things. the slop from the chubs along with the slop from the stubaxles creates about 1/8" or so overall slop at the wheel, and it drives me crazy. |

But yeah, I was going to slap on the Fast Eddy bearings for the Slash... ordered a new Robinson output gear as Ill use an AX10 tranny as opposed to Wraith tranny in the Class 3. Also ordered some RC4WD Hardcore Scale Trailing Arms... so I had them before they disappeared; may just try doing a more 'scale', or scaleish, Slash with a solid rear axle rather than IRS. | |

Do you guys understand the advantages and disadvantages of a center differential vs. a slipper in a SCT? Seems like the racers use the center dif while the bashers tend to stay with the slipper. I understand what it does but I'm not sure I understand why one is better than the other.

the center diff eliminates wheelies... after seeing DL's trampede (?, I want the slipper! It'll corner better w/the diff |
