Im trying to find out interest in an indoor Scale comp. It would be held at our indoor facility in Frankfort and would be a crawling comp not a TTC etc. There would be water... Date would be Jan/Feb. Interested? |

here you go Official SCRC 1.9 and Comp scale rules Trail Class -1.9 sized tires and smaller ONLY. -Vehicle must be "street Legal" ---Meaning a vehicle legal for use on public roads. -Body must line up with wheelbase of vehicle. -NO 2.2/1.9 comp bodies allowed, example Losi Grappler. -No tire modifications allowed except for siping. -Chassis must be a ladder style design and extend past the axles. ---Meaning no bolt on frame rails to make chassis longer. -Vehicle must have front and rear bumper. ---Can be molded into body or bolted on. -Batteries must be frame mounted and hidden. -NO DIG. ---A 2wd/4wd transfer case is allowed, as long as it can only disconnect the front axle like a 1:1 truck. -NO motor limit or cell limit. -NO full tube framed chassis allowed. -Front wheel steer only. Comp Scale Class -NO comp bodies allowed. -Vehicles must represent the 1:1 they are made after(tuber or other) -Front wheel steer -NO DIG. -2.2 and smaller tires. -Can NOT be same truck run in crawling classes. Bonus Points -Each is worth -1 point -Working winch. -Working lights ---Lights must remain on during comp. -Hardbody -Driver -Accessory Bonus ---Must have 3 removeable items on the truck(example, Shovel, HiLift Jack, Blanket, etc) -Fuel Cell, NOT fuel can-Jerry can. -Fire extinguisher -Spare tire and wheel -Bonus points are credited after run on what's left on the vehicle. -Maximum of 5 bonus points per vehicle Winching Vehicles can take a winch penalty for a 5 point penalty. If the driver does not have a working winch, the driver that ran prior can winch them out if equipped. The winching driver MUST drive from a gate to the stuck driver. (NO picking truck up and setting it down in front of them) You may come from the forward gate OR the reverse gate. No penalty points will be accessed during this time. If you can winch out the stranded driver in these guidelines, the winching driver is credited the stranded drivers 5 penalty points. ALL FINAL DECISIONS ARE MADE BY THE SCRC REPRESENTATIVE RUNNING THE COMPETITION. |

if it has 1.9 rims and resembles a 1:1 I have a hard time believing it wouldnt fit. The rules you guys go by are way more strict than ours.

It looks to be a 1 time deal at this point but, it could lead to more if we get a good turn out. I've submitted the date to see if the shop will be open. Its looking to be in Feb. The terrain will be on our comp course so, expect it to be brutal if you take a tumble etc. I'm working on the design for a water section to make it interesting. | |
