| Anybody in Chicago?
I'm in Chicago until Thursday with my girlfriend. She will be in meetings until 4 every day (except Thursday), and I'm trying to figure out what to do through the day. I'm looking for any must-see type things or even to hook up and have lunch or a beer. I'm staying at the Burnham on Washington and State. |

I'm at Wacker and State during the day... and I like beer! As far as must see? Have you been here before? The view from the Signature Lounge in the Hancock Building is pretty damn impressive. I usually take tourist there because it's one floor below the observatory and cost less to get a drink in the lounge then it does to pay admission to the observatory. |

This is my first time. Last night, I walked around a bit and we ate at Lou Malnatis. We are doing our own version of a deep dish pizza tour & will also try Gino's East and Giordanos. I'll have to check out the Signature Lounge. I've heard that the local 312 beer is drinkable, so I'm going to have to try a couple. |

I guess it depends on taste but I like Revolution Brewery better than Goose Island, I'm personally not a fan of 312... or wheat beers in general. Goose Islands Honkers Ale isn't bad and they make some pretty good Belgium styles. There's a lot of really good brew pubs throughout the North Side. Actually Goose Island is a nice brewery to eat at and sample beers. |

oh yeah, add Pizzaria Uno, Duo or Pizzanios (all the same owner) to your pizza tour. Possibly the best thin crust in town is Pete's Pizza on Western Ave.

all the real cool, non-tourist stuff is aways away from the loop. if it was a little warmer i'd say just hang out at north ave beach and look at all the honeys... walk up and down michigan ave, just to say you did. good people watching. go to navy pier and check out all the tourists. museum of science and technology is pretty rad. the submarine exhibit is pretty cool. pizzaria uno for sure. |

Don't forget about Millenium Park, the Museum Campus (Field, Adler and Shedd) and Soldier Field.
