Cmon folks.....I know you got places to wheel.....stop holding out. :)

nathanotis 08-10-2009 05:51 PM

Well, if you're into 1:1 wheeling (or ATV or dirt bikes), you could take your RC to The Badlands in Attica. When the trails you're on wind around back to the quarry, take a break, bust out the 1:10 and wheel to your hearts content.

Brownsburg - Arbuckle park. Going there this evening in fact.

Beest 08-11-2009 08:47 PM

I've been out to Arbuckle a good bit lately.
Mudcat, Which park? What time? "thumbsup"

indiana mudcat 08-12-2009 08:24 PM

the park is skiles test nature park. there might be good stuff in the woods, but i played for an hour or more in the ditch out front and the hill up onto the interstate.

limpy88 08-12-2009 09:21 PM

according to google earth looks like the park may have bigger rocks but spaced out to much, but a ton of running trails all through it so it probabaly pretty busy and nice place to veiw the "senery" during the summer if you what i'm saying.

indiana mudcat 08-12-2009 10:06 PM

ya there was some scenery. some large rock here and there i could see on the trails but spaced out as you said. there's a large walk path that goes back in the woods, there's gotta be something back there somewhere.

limpy88 08-12-2009 10:27 PM

would could rearrange the rocks(haha)

Beest 08-13-2009 08:08 PM

I was thinking of that:twisted:.....I know of a few vacant places that with a little rearrangement that could be SWEET. I don't know if we would get into trouble:shock:..... I mean its not like were taking the rocks.8)

TwistedCreations 08-14-2009 05:59 AM

yeah but you guys are messing with state and federal land:shock:

Better talk with a ranger first as most don't care. But you could always run into the 1 who didn't get any and had a fight with the wife that day

limpy88 08-14-2009 10:33 AM

the park is a city park and Beest works for the city so he can proabably get a way with it.8)

TwistedCreations 08-14-2009 01:07 PM

Ahh, that makes it easy then "thumbsup"

Beest 08-15-2009 04:10 PM

We will have to see. :)

limpy88 08-18-2009 02:21 PM

went to skiles test nature park today. all the clearing's had 4ft tall plants in it. no place to crawl. i walked a little over 1/2 mile in. the plans were to thick. i did see a good sized doe though. didn't expect to see deer inside the lope.
