| I visited the ROXBOX friday nov 12th
Had a great time. "The Eye" is a great guy and runs that place friendly and professional. I also got to check out some wheels made by Mayhem Eng. Wow. Fantastic wheels. I ran my SCX10 and while theROXBOX is very difficult for a "scaler" on 1.9's I still had a blast. I'm definitely gonna get a set of 2.2's to run for my visits there! ha ha. Another driver had a "scaler" SCX10 on 2.2's and he could tackle a lot more of the course than I could. I definitely need an ESC that has full brakes too. I've got the stock axial ESC and it's tricky, to say the least, (impossible) to stop where you are to consider your next move. There was also a Tamiya Hilux there, and it was running pretty well on the course. The AX10's and Comp Crawler rigs were fun to watch. They pull of some amazing moves on the RoXBOX course. Anyone who has been considering going there should DO IT. Totally cool. I have a couple pics, but photobucket is being a real turd right now. |

Keep 1.9's on your scaler, thats what we run when we comp there. Myself and several others run 1.9 Rok Lox's. Theres a nite and day difference running a taller tire there compared to the stock Flat Irons. |

I've thought about new tires. The Mayhem wheels I looked at had rock lox and mudslingers on them, they looked quite a bit different than my flatirons.
