Yes but the Tri State guys run 2.2 comp only and from what I've seen the 2.2 comp scene is about dead and the scale scene is growing.

Like said above, We comp at the box every other sunday, but i know u are a scale guy. We just did a ttc event down in louisville last weekend as well. the info on that is on louisvillecrawlers.com

If you wanna have a scale gtg just post up on here when and where well in advance so people can plan for it, and i bet you will get a good turnout.

If u post it, we will come. :)

I scale all of the time when I'm not working on or wheeling my 1.1. I went to cincy to see some fam and found a park with some fun creek wheeling. I'm just north of Indy post up if you guys want to run them! I had a blast at the scale comp at the box. I would like so see some more happen!

NIRC meets primarily in the Roselle/Schaumberg/Busse Woods areas and we are a Scaler Club. We hold trail runs, G6 comps and TTC comps. We have a big presence in Class 3 and a nice sized Class 2 population. A few of us have Class 1s also.

Our events are posted in the Illinois section and we have a NIRC Chit Chat Thread in the Illinois section also.

I got my hopes up tell I looked and its 3:45min away. That's a bit far to run RCs.

Does anyone want to go to badlands and run-em?

How about Haspin Acres? Lots of varied terrain.

The Eye and I have been out to the Badlands once. I'm also planning on a trip south of Nashville Tn. in November for the Scale Trail Runners Food drive event. I had a great time at the Badlands though. There is also a park in Avon that had some cool walking trails with good scaling terrain.

TJ: A bunch of us are doing an "Ultimate Trail Run" this Sunday over in IL (Fairmount Il exit 200 on I74) about 40mins from Badlands. Its basically a g6 without the scoring, just fun. Its not affiliated with any clubs just my own little deal. Your more than welcome to come, just let me know so I can make sure I have enough Brats/dogs (bring your own drinks).

As for comp crawlers... these threads have been popping up everyplace. It seems that the comp scene is down to the core guys that just wont go away.

TurnNb I'm not a fan of how haspen is ran and all of the drunks out there driving around so I stay away. And I hate mud!:flipoff:

Jetboat thanks for the offer but I have a bunch of crap to get fixed on my 1.1 for a Harlan trip I have coming up. I started prepping the jeep Sunday and found this... Lol
