Indiana Scale TTC Summer Series

At 4wp. Are we gonna do truck pulls on pavement or grass? I don't know how they will feel about us tearing up their grass with our sled and rigs. And our trucks wont grip worth a dang on grass... unless they have a bare spot we could use. Idk..... 1.1 rigs pull on dirt.

I have a few Qs. I think I will run both 1.9 & 2.2 if I can find the time to make it out and I just want to make sure I'm legal before I get there.

Cut tires? I cut all the small lugs on my boggers.
Digs? I run digs on most of my scale rigs because well its fun! I do em in my 1.1 all the time when I'm on the trail.
Changes between corses. Can we make changes (tires, weight, batt size?) or do we have to run the exact same the whole time?

I believe dig in 2.2 unlimted will be fine. Idk about the 1.9 dig tho. Handi will havta chime in on that.

If you wanna change your rigs(tires, wheels, batt. weight ect) setup from event to event thats all good too.

Beest is dead on. Digs in 2.2 unlimited only. You can run in the other classes with your trucks if it is dig equipped, but I will just ask you not to use it. Again, its not the intent of these events to hamstring the fun factor with a bunch of rules. Also, cut tires are fine, open lug tires if that's what you got is fine. Just come have a good time. This may all turn into run what you brung anyway......who knows.

I was hoping cut tires was cool.. Beest has seen my cut rox Lox and they're um.. Rowdy. I'm glad the tire/setup changing was covered also. I had wondered about that.

The FOTO date was nailed down today, still have to get ahold of Dale up at Summit for that date.

All locations and dates are finalized. Please see the first post of this thread for details. Also please note that for the Summit event, I will be charging a $5 entry fee. It is because we are using a RC track which offers pit space and air condition. All other events are free.

I changed the dates on the first two comps because I didn't look closer at the calendar and scheduled them on Mother's Day and the day before Father's Day. So the new dates for May is the 20th and June is the 23rd. Sorry for the late corrections, but I'm sure everyone will understand.

Awesome! I was kinda bummed about the meeting at 4wparts being on mothers day. This helps tremendously! It going to be a long weekend running in the prairie land race in Joliet on sat. And then all the way to Indy on sun...

Another date correction. The TTC comp in Clarksville and Louisville will be September 15th, not the 7th due to RCC nationals are that weekend. I know there are a couple going that are involved with the Indiana TTC series.

I am going to make it for this one!!!! However there needs to be some sort of limit on how long they take to do it. Like it has to be done before the next event starts...Should I ask Crazycrawler if we may use his badass RTI Ramp?

I know I really wanted to do the ttc but I'm selling all of my trucks, parts and anything rc related. I have some bigger (1:1) priorities right now. If anyone needs a truck I'll hook a local dude up.
