Northwest Indiana T.T.C. Info Hello everybody. Many of you say that there is no where to crawl in Northern Indiana, I say your wrong. I say you just dont know where to look or how to use creativity to help you. Recently (on nov. 4th) we had a Tough Truck Challenge in NWI (Northwest Indiana). It was a great turnout for the first event hosted out here. We had 4 individual events including a treacherous bonus hill climb that only 1 person made it up. This may not have been all rocks but there were rocks involved along with steep hills and a lot of forest debris. We will be having another NWI T.T.C. in the spring and we would like to get more people to come join us. If you want to stay updated and see pictures look-up " NWI T.T.C. " on facebook. it is a group we have started to keep anyone and everyone interested Up-To-Date with pics videos and all news NWI T.T.C. |

The 2014 schedule is up on their facebook page. Anyone in the Indy area that is interested let me know. I will be attending every event this year and carpooling would be great since these events are a little bit of a drive for us. |

Re: Northwest Indiana T.T.C. Info Im hoping to join you guys soon Im doing research on what to get. Im between a Twin Hammers and Wraith Kit. Im lean towards the kit. I love to build and tinker. |
Re: Northwest Indiana T.T.C. Info They are both fun. But it boils down to what you want to do. The wraith is great for crawling and a lil speed fix. It handles a lotta crap and has good ground clearance. The twin is good for speed and light crawling the diffs are not locked so it makes it a lil tricky but you can buy the locker for the diffs. It is a 2 speed and I believe its water proof. And if you want complete scale with infinate modification options the scx10 is the way to go. Either the dingk kit or the jk kit (kit since you like to tinker). Either way you go you will have fun because this hobby is a complete blast! |
I just found out Valpo hobby is closing 20% off evetything. Get it before it is gone! Plenty od scx10 in stock |
Re: Northwest Indiana T.T.C. Info Im going to have to go to Valpo tomorrow with my 3 yr old. |
Re: Northwest Indiana T.T.C. Info Buying used here on RCC is my preferred method of buying. |
