New guy from Anderson/Muncie area

New to RC and my dad has messed with my crawler some and now he is hooked and trying to pick up a kit from our LHS. We are looking to hopefully find some local events. Not necessarily to compete but just to have some fun.

With the AX-10's I dont even know what class we would be in and we are not good yet but we have a blast out playing in the woods. So anyhting local east central Indiana where we could go out and have a good time would love some tips on locations or this years schedule of something around the area.

Welcome! Im in greenfield, not to far from yall up by Anderson. we've got a trail ride series going this year.

If comping is your thing Sircc is the only official usrcca club in Indiana, so you might check out SIRCC Home for comp info. I'm trying to keep the sircc comps posted up here so some of yall that don't get over to sircc.org will be in the loop on comp stuff.

Yea Greenfield isn't far at all from us. We are just looking to have some fun really not too worried about competition. I just found a good deal on the AX-10's and crawling seemed like it would be a lot of fun and I have definitely enjoyed it so far. Like I said we are just looking for something kind of local we can go and have some fun whether its a competition or just a group of people.

I would appreciate it if I could see a schedule for the trail ride series your putting on we may be able to work something out and come out and have some fun.

Thanks will do. Dad finally picked up his AX-10 he got an RTR ridgecrest. Had a lot of fun back in the woods behind his house. So we are now both looking to join up somewrhere and get a chance to improve our skills.

Yes can't wait for the weather to change too many things to do outside. I go stir crazy in the winter. But I have been doing some work on my scorpion and I think it will be a lot better trail rig hopefully so shoot me a pm when you get an idea of when you guys are going to get your series going.
