Sure can! We always welcome newcomers! What kind of rig do you have?

AWESOME! I have been wanting to do one of these for three years now!

I have three. A scx10 based jeep j-20 pickup, a RC4WD trail stomper, and my favorite, a 4 year old scx10 jeep cherokee.

Nice! We always have a great time and i'm sure your rigs will fit right in to one of the classes.

Where/when would everyone like to reschedule this to? I would like to have it at Nick's house (if he's willing) or at FOTO. If anyone has a good idea for a comp spot, please share.

Nicks house is awesome so that would be cool with me. Same for Foto though. They are about the same distance for me since I always get lost going to Nicks.

Looking forward to Clifty Falls. Bring extra parts everyone cause you WILL break something.
Got the rear servo replaced on my Rock Hoopty and now working on having a 1.9 rig ready to go so I can run with the cool kids.

Great. I'll be sure to bring parts with me like gears and shafts!
How good of a turn out do you guys have at the events?

What spare parts should I be bringing? I don't have much and have to order everything from the net if I want it in time. It takes weeks to get stuff from Hobbytown lately.

Clifty isn't that bad. I think the parking lot breaks the most parts. (haha Randy, jk)

We usually have 10 or more at most comps but this series hasn't actually got kicked off yet, so i'm curious on the turnout as well.

I'm just messing with you guys. You shouldn't really break anything there that you wouldn't break anywhere else.
I'm really hoping they open back up the cave/tunnel this year, really wanting to drive thru it with someone along that has a go pro, hint hint.

I am working on a mount to get it inside the SCX10 but not sure how the picture will be through the windshield. I need a really bright light bar for the Wraith that won't break if I should I roll it over. I am really thinking about just making my own out of some aluminum so it won't be so heavy. Something where the lights are mounted inside something and not just mounted to a bar.

Bringing this back to the top to remind everybody we have a scale comp tomorrow at Clifty Falls state park. Meeting at the big parking lot/shelter area strait ahead thru the North gate to get the scale points judging out of the way then hitting the trails to comp. Please be there by around 10a.m.. Hope to have the judging out of the way and be hitting the trails by 10:30.

It sprinkled for about 5 minutes and then poured for a couple minutes during our break for lunch. Other than that everything was fine and we all had a good time. Only ran two courses but the second one was a 42 gate course and it was a blast. Sorry but you missed a really good time.

Had a great time. The second course was great. Over 40 gates and more than 30 minutes to complete it. Also nice to meet new people i nthe hobby.

even with the poor turnout I still had a great time. Well worth the 2 hour drive. Curtis and Kane both did really good for their first comp. I am ready for the next one. That second run was a blast.

Thanks everyone for gambling on the weather, it was a win. I'm glad everyone had a good time and it was great to see new faces.

I guess old dog was right. There is an event on May 19 at Nick's house. Has anyone talked to Nick lately to see if it is still on? I really expected to see them at Clifty.

Thanks for the props! Had a blast. I will probably go to Brown County this weekend and get some good photos of trail 10 that should be pretty aggressive. Me and Curtis did trail 5 and it was fun, but I think its a smidge too docile. I'll let you guys know by monday how it looks.
