Remember I go through the obsticles you go over.

The places up inthe NE IA I have seen have been mostly cliffs. Jive me a couple park names and I will check them out when the snow melts.

Lot of old quarrys around Decorah. There is huge gully wash from the floods in August, full of that white flat rock might be interesting. I'd try some spots around Palisades Park or the old trout hatchery, Twin Springs i think...I'll put up some pics....watch out for bikes and walk up the trails over and around Dunning Springs.

Mason City crawling spots are not as noticable. There's some stuff up at Pilot Knob State park. Idlewilde in Floyd has limited rock gardens along the river. Both those places get infested with mosquitos in the summer.

There has got to be some cool stuff in Iowa Falls. I'll wander around home here looking for rock gardens...and pics...

There are great places around coralville and lake mcbride. Plenty of comps have been held at both. Also Maquoketa caves has treated us well for holding comps there. Over by desmoines sailerville lake is another good spot.
