Default Mid America Hobbies

I read that they're planning on hosting some crawling comps this year. Still about 2 hours away for me but the Cherokee gets 25 MPG.

Yah, Bill is who I do business with. If this stinkin weather would ever let up so he can get some progress on his new facility. It's going to be a rock garden style course. I left my CD1 Super down at his present shop last summer and it sparked a lot of interest. He's been selling some AX-10's too. I hope this coarse will bring in some local racers to watch, so they will start building crawlers. All of us should try to get there when it gets warmer and the garden is either being built, to help, or crawl when it's complete. Anyone have any suggestions on layout or rock size? I have lots of boulders and some concrete culvers I could donate. Not too many though I need some for myself.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I will believe it when I see it. He has said that for years.

He's never had the facility for it either. Till now.

It's kinda got something to do with marketing too. It really wasn't sensible to put the money into something that, what half dozen people at the most, would show for comps every week. Hell I've been talking for years about doing a lot of things too, just not cost effective right now. Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting, cause I am, I was expecting this reply from you too. If Bill dosn't get his course built, you can all come play at my house.

I haven't been down there in a while. The last I saw the building wasn't erected yet. It's been about a month since I talked to Bill anyway. Busy with lots of other things.
