Default Show us your RIGS!

Since this Iowa board has been such a wild fire of action I just thought I'd get the ball rolling again.

Watcha workin on? Watcha got? Will you change it and how? What do you want to get if you had Cole's money?

I still have my Kyosho Twin based Super, CD2. It is ready to compete, if that ever happens again. It's running a 10T puller from the one and only JRH, Aftershocks on Maxi's. FXR, AWSOME esc!! 7 cell custom pack, wanna go 3S, 4S 2200mah (or higher) lipo. TG7955 front TG5955 rear. Axles are running 3.3 stock gears and have 4.3 helicals on order from the mother country on the slow boat.

I have a scale build in progress. It's a 1/8th scale version of what I wish my CJ5 was, kinda. Twin axles, narrowed, 1/4 eliptical rear 4 linked, coils front 3 linked w/ track bar. 2.2 Rock Crushers, Twin based trany, and an ALL hand made chassis and suspension. Probably run 2 MG5645, lipo, FXR, w/55t Tekin motor. I am thinking about building my own BL's (w/ MAKKEMs help and lathe) for this because I can't find any that will suite my application. 14 or 17mm hex 1 3/4 wide and undetermined offset. My axles may go under the knife again.

And lastly, my top secret Super running a Revo diff for a trany and Twin, diff slammed, axles.

If I had Cole's money I would buy a X Crawler and a 2.2 Rock Force.

Not running anything fancy, just enough to run and beat. My one and only is a Rockbull III on clods with thundertech cvd's. As you can see running on some Moabs. Also have some Imex red rocks and some sort of v cut tire like mickey tompsons. On cheyennes, maximizer and eight shooter beadlocks. Set of 65 integy with 8 tooth pinions. I just stuck to the basic 3600 NiMh for batteries. I am currently working on TRYING to make my own set of aluminum axle tubes, I'll let you know how that works out. I am still waiting to get together with some of you to see how well my truck actually works. Here are some pics of my little course at home. well never mind not sure how to insert pics yet, I'll get back with you on that one.

ohhh, I think i got it now

who knows if i really need all of these tires but I got on a ebay kick and couldn't pass them up. Anybody know what the tires in the middle are? the little shiny thing on them is a 23mm adapter for a Revo??? maybe, I have no need for them they came with the moabs, so if anybody needs such a thing let me know.

I just broke my right rear tire off playing around in the yard, and upon further inspection 2 other axles are cracking. Time to pony up and buy some aluminum one I guess. What does every one run for axles and hubs? From what I have read I should stay away from Integy????? Any suggestions?

What's up fellas? Just got back from the honeymoon. IT was great and even stopped in on the MN crew's comp today. They have a lot of memebers up there that comp 30-35 people show up.
I need to fix my crawler the servo gears are stripped and the rear wheel hex is also stripped.

Have been really busy as of the wedding and flood and new biz and all. Soon I will be crawling again. I have many other crawlers in torn apart state.
This is what some of my money has went too.

Also have been doing a quik restore on an old f150 that was in the wedding. Need to take a pic of it as it looks pretty good now for a beater.

If you had my money you wouldn't need to ask how much it cost, just buy it. Also wouldn't mind your wife taking the DEBIT card out for a shopping spree.

Here is mine twin force axles narrowed with cv shafts. 4.3 helicals the lockers are simple ones I can't remember the name of. Maxi rims with aftershocks. Twin force tranny with a shortend chain. 7 turn cobalt puller. Fxr speed control. Mx3 radio. The battery was made from left over 6 cell sticks I have 7 cell pack under the hood made to fit. Found out I was running out of room after I already built the frame. The frame is brake line & silver solder. Still needs some adjusting but the look will stay the same.
