Figure I'd better throw a picture up and let you all see what I'm working on up here in LeMars: Got our first chance to take them out saturday...if I'd known about a the swap meet we'd have been all over it! Mine: Rockbull v3, locked Clod axles, 55t integy's, novak super duty, mod'd tq3, dual 2400mah packs, glued maxx mashers And the newest ebay find for the brother-in-law: Mod'd N&N, locked Clod axles, 55t integy's, 9t pinions, novak super rooster, mod'd tq3, single 3000mah pack, moab xl's And one I threw together for my nephew: Rockbull v2, locked Clod axles, stock clod motors, novak super rooster, mod'd tq3, single 2000mah pack, glued maxx mashers I'd really love to get together with some other crawlers and give it a go. Have a respectable small rock park here in LeMars, but nothing great...where are you guys running at locally? I hear Omaha has some places, but I'm looking to get in on something more in this area. I'm still idle with my crawlers...since I moved out of the old lady's. The AX10 needs the R2 dig reworked. The stock parts from RC4WD came unthreaded and then got lost in the move. Then I need to come up with a body for it. I'm not going to use the "betty" if anyone wants to swap!! The Wheely King project has only locked axles, and a Holmes Black Revolver hooked up with an old Mamba25. With the axles locked the tranny gears grind...but the boys love to bash the stock setup. I have to make suspension links, steering links, and place everything into the Sinastir X-51 chassis I hacked up this fall. I have reworked the tranny mounts so I can install a R2 and AX tranny with the other WK drivetrain. I'm not sure yet how long I want the wheelbase yet. I can work it either 12.5" or 18". It will be another experiment, to see what works best. I really like the 18". Very few obsticals around here to hold up a super. I had to replace the power switch on a MambaMax. I also picked up some green LED's while in the RadioShack, so I'm gonna get that hitched up, so I can locate the switch during night crawling. Last edited by scaryfast12; 02-14-2009 at 03:07 PM. It would have more style if it had a Miller Lite in front of it. It would be color coordinated then Looks good John

The sinastir WK project just isn't enough, considering all things laid upon my table this month. I'm thinking that I need to try a Kyosho RockForce. Last edited by scaryfast12; 03-02-2009 at 12:11 PM. Reason: Video taken down |
