Default Help with crawler...

I have a DMG DCV and was wondering which axles I should get for it? Also, should I set it up for rear steer or not?

What motors and ESCs are you guys using on your rigs?

I have the chassis and an Axial trans right now, just need to figure what else to get for it.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what that is but I will tell you what I gots. I run Tekin FX-R's and Holmes Hobbies Cobalt pullers. The only real problem with the HH pullers is they are longer than a 540 can. They are worth it if you can fit it.

If that is a chassis and probably a 2.2, the new berg axles are the ticket right now. The new Kyosho Rock Force will soon have axle kits released and they will be the shafty axle of choice. You won't even need a trany.

It is a Death Metal Garage chassis.

This is not my photo, but it is a photo of the chassis:

Also, I see alot of Castle BEC units in crawlers, what is the deal with those?

if you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different answers on what to get, that being said i would go with axial axles , stampede or if money allows the mip drive shafts, goat crawler brushless. if your are going to comps no rear steer get a dig. rims and tires have way lots of options to list but id say any of the top 5 that you see people on here running will do you well ....hope this helped

CC BEC's will allow you to run enough power to your servos through your main battery. I would recomend lipo power. Ilooked up those chassis, those are sweet
