Meteorologists

What is it with these guys. Every day we have at least 6 different forecasts going on the laptop at the shop. With the millions of dollars these idiots have invested in radar and such, wouldn't you think there would be some similarities in the forcast:x If I was wrong this much in my occupation I'd be out of a job! We try to plan our pushes around the forecasts(guesses) and end up plowing in a blizzard. Which translates into 2 maybe 3 plowings. Yah it's money in the pocket, but it's hard on my pillow time;-)

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Christmas, and lets all put our heads together and demand 25 degree dry weather for the rest of the winter:lol:"thumbsup"

my grandfather always told me if i wanted a job where i didn't have to work or be right to be a weather man

Yeah I don't understand how each broadcast of weather is totally different from one another.
I don't care at this point I just go when they call now or at 4-6" mark.

Well last night I was expecting a call from the snow boss @ 3am, because we guessed the snow was gonna be done @ 4-5. Our accounts have to be cleared with 2" on the ground, and most need to be cleared before 6 or 7 before the employees arrive. Well guess what, I didn't sleep due to the fact that I'm mental :) and was too worried about the upcoming push. Then it didn't come till what 5:30? So that meant 2 pushes per account cause it didn't stop till 9:30-10. Now the guys have to go back Friday morning to clean up after where the cars were parked and where ever the drifts build. Thank God that I have the next 5 days off. Spent with the inlaws, it's still better than plowing.

Sorry for the Gripes. Time to put a smile on and wait for Santa"thumbsup"
