| Making axles...
Guys, do any of you possibly have links to custom made solid axles? I keep looking around to buy axles, but I have all of the tools to make my own, I just have no idea where to start. Please help me out. Thanks. -Chris |

I have a Twin Force housing I can send you to design your own aluminum one after or something. Are you going to make a 2.2 or Super?

That would be great if you could send it to me. I don't know the difference between a 2.2 and a super? -Chris |

You better do a little research then before you decide to build custom axles. A Super is the unlimited class that I run. 2.2 is the 1/10th class that is the most popular right now. Check out www.usrcca.com for the rules. The nice thing about my axles is they are easily made into custom width for either class. The internals, gears, shafts, lockers, are all 1/8th buggy parts. The sky is the limit with these axles. I would also recomend you build them out of Delrin instead of aluminum. No cost advantage from what I hear, just that Delrin slides better on the rocks. Check out the Kyosho Twin Force board or some of my builds |

If 2.2 and super only comes down to fitting in a class, then I'm not worried about it. I just want to go bash and have some fun! Following rules has never really been my thing... If you are still willing to let me build off of the Twin Force housing, lets work something out. Thanks. -Chris |

I already have a DMG chassis that I am going to be using, so I plan to make the axles fit it. -Chris |
