C'mon Kratos, you are the best and it has been proven, just because you have hit a gate or two does not mean you will do it Saturday. Try and get some sleep man, all will work out great . This is going to be awesome, see ya in the am. Oh yea, what time?

I'd love to win. It would be great to have a win of this magnitude and it would shut some people up a little bit. Shafty Crawlers for Life! or until I build my MOA . |

Colossal Directions..... From I-80 take exit 244, take Dubuque Street north 3 miles to West Overlook Road turn east and proceed 1/4 mile to the park entrance. This will take you to the west end of the Coralville Dam; at this point, turn downhill to the right, twice, and park in the parking spots on the right hand side. After the first downhill right turn you will cross a large flat concrete area...this is bottom of the emergency spillway. After crossing the spillway there is a road that will turn to the right and head down the next hill...this is your second downhill turn to the right. There will be a couple concrete overlook areas next to the fossil gorge. If you get to the bottom of the hill where the road curves to the left, you have gone too far. If you follow the road all the way to the end, you will be at the spillway of the dam. There is public restrooms located there. My GPS won't show coordinates for the gorge. This was the best I could get off the internet... +41° 43' 19.08", -91° 31' 57.45" Google Map If you look at the Google Map...the "B" is the site of the comp. You can see to the north of that is the spillway....that big flat slab of concrete you have to drive across before making the second right downhill turn. I hope this helps.... If you have any questions...please call me...I WILL be up.. 5 one 5- 2 nine 8- 1 four 2 eight. Be safe in your travels... |
