I just wanted to take a second to thank IaRock and Cow RC for all the great give aways and prize money. I also wanted to congratulate Kratos on 1st, and Jeff Jet on second and hope to get a chance to compete against you again. It was great to meet everybody and I had a really fantastic time even with the rain. IaRock put on a great event at a utterly fantastic location. I really hope this event grows and I can take part in the next one.

thanks wartrader. it took alot of work to get that win over the guys we had today. finals course was tough. like wartrader said thank you iarock and cowrc, everything was great and cant wait to come out there again

So where is the rundown on the results?

The Comp was a total success. The drizzle really wasn't a factor. It was a little chilly( the Sallies that didn't show) It just made it that much more interesting. Jeff the Jet! Thanks so much for bringing the give aways. That was really fantastic! CowRC thanks for the freebees. To all the folks that made the trec to come to our little/big comp, thank you sooooo much. It made it so much fun.

Congrats Kratos on the big 'W' for NSCA. The 4th coarse was brutal Congrats Jeff the Jet for the 2nd place for KCRC win. And certainly congrats to WarTrader for the 3rd placer for SCRC. I wish we could have got some video of the Waterloo Crew mud bogging. We were all talking about you guys thrashing your junk Sammy sorry bout the breakage you did really well for 3 wheel drive

thrashing is why I have mine Im all about running it anywhere!!

its was a great showing and that place is amazing!!!

I also had fun running my 2wd slash up and down the dam...it was dam fun!!

First and for most my wife and i would like to thank everybody that had a part in putting this comp together! With out their help this would never happen. FOSSIL GORGE is a awsome spot for a comp you iowa guys are blessed. I hope u all liked the give away goodies we brought and if u need anything give me a holla.

Congrats to Kratos, Jeff the Jet and WarTrader......and to Bart Bender and I for getting a couple shafties into the top 5.

Thanks to everybody that stuck around and comp'd despite the rain....without ya'll it wouldn't have been a success. I had a blast and it was great getting to meet all the new faces at our little comp.

A HUGE thanks to Kratos for letting us play with his balls! (gate markers) and to Jeff the Jet for donating all the CowRC stuff that we gave away....words can't express how much I appreciate what both of you guys did to help us out.

I will get the official results posted up here as soon as they dry out....







As for doing this again....we will be having a 2nd annual Colossal Fossil Challenge next year. It will be a 2 day event next time with bigger prizes and moh money.....and better weather. The date is yet to be determined but will likely be moved up to June or July. I will keep everybody posted.

We try to have a comp every month and ya'll are invited to attend those too....although those are mostly for fun and bragging rights.
