Hi all,

Wanted to see if there are any RC crawler folks in Wichita area that would be interested in some informal competitions / get togethers... maybe on a regular basis if things work out? It appears that wichita rc crawlers has disolved?

Here are a couple pics of my top secret crawling area about a mile from my house and my creeper. Got into RC crawlers since it was something my 6 year old son could do with me. Thought we could get by sharing a truck, but it turns out we both want to drive the ENTIRE time

Anyways, hope to hear from a few folks in the area.

I'm in McPherson, and Wichita doesn't seem too far...

I'm currently without a car, or a rig (well, I've got a couple scalers...), but once those two get taken care of (soon I hope), then I'd be more than willing to commute to Wichita on a regular basis.

I'm in Valley Center and my first crawler should be here next week. I would love to get out and do some crawling.

What are you getting? Just let me know when you are up and running!

I live in SW Wichita... Oak Park in the riverside area has some pretty cool stuff that would be kinda in the middle. The pics in the beginning of the thread are about near Midcontinent Airport. A bit more driving for you, but its a BIG rock garden.

Hey guys, I'm also from Valley and getting into crawling. I bought my creeper like a year ago and am just now getting close to running it for the first time. I would come out and play with you if I get the chance.

I am pretty booked for the next week or so, but should be availble around the middle of next week. The lake at Emery park (near K-15 and McArthur) has some good rocks. Could meet up there if that works...

I just got a MRC that i will slowly be building into a 1.9 comp crawler. No comps around here as you can tell but i will come crawl with you guys!

Buffalo Park's pond has been drained and would be an awesome place for some scale trail action. It's off of Maize road between Central and Maple.
