Looks like warm temps, clear sky's and enough wind to blow us off the rock lol. See you all up there.

I stopped in at the hobby shop in Newton last night. He is now carrying the Wraith. I asked him to look into some crawlers the last time I was there and I guess he listened to me.

stopped at don's Saturday to get the rest of my rod ends. first off, pretty sure those went up in price, no way my cheap ass would have dropped 27 bucks on rod ends 4 years ago. Second, Don asked me waht i was building, all interested and heart felt, i replied "i am rebuilding my Rock crawler" he responded, trying to be nice and maintained that customer service appearance, but at the same time showing his complete lose of interest "oh" LOL does 27 bucks for a dozen rod ends, nuts, screws and spacers seem high????? should not have to buy any more, but wow.

Dons don't care about crawlers but I bought my servo there was 119 but he cut it down to 104. Way to nice today I'm going trailing once my batteries charge. Horsethief here I come.

11 bucks i can afford to carry a spare and not care how much abuse it takes. 12kg torque is enough for me, not trying to move boulders with it ;)

ya, not talkin shit or nothin, or start a debate, but i have tried to use that particular servo on a mostly stock scx-10, and also as a dig servo on a losi comp crawler trans.(with endpoints set correctly). neither one lasted more than a few lipos before they stripped the gears. so after 25 bucks wasted for about 60 mins of runtime combined, i now only run hitec 79** or JR 9100HVT series servos... at least i know if i blow them out, they have a warranty...

hadn't herd of the gears ripping out, jut the horn, they are talking about only running their becs at 6.5 volts though, wonder it was a over power issue?? i figure 11 bucks, i has to be better then the project grade Parallax servo i am using now.
