My rig is done! (Finally... thanks FlightInstrukta!) But, I still don't have a car, or I'd be willing

doing a internal spring mod on mine and waiting for the snow to fly, should give me plenty of places to crawl here. also working on plans for a home brew scaler chassis.

Here's what I was able to scrounge together: SCX Chassis that I won in a giveaway, fully loaded TLT axles, allthread links, HS645 servo, Axial ESC, 45t motor, Axial Trans, Axial Beadlocks, Mud Thrashers...

I still have a laundry list of things I need to obtain for this rig. I wanna build a grill for this body (something cheap, this body sucks...) I'd like to someday add a winch and Dinky-Link for up front. I know the beadlock rings are yellow, and that kinda sucks, but the yellow is powdercoated and it was done right... I'll hit up MTHead for a set of rings later. I plan to order up some tubing to sleeve all my links, and I'd love to find a set of 4 springs (in black) to replace the springs on the stock SCX shocks. Lastly, an FXR and a new motor would tie things together (and give me a drag brake...)

The ESC was purely an afterthought. I just have it sketchily mounted, and I wired it even more sketchy. I just wanted it to work, so it's far from perfect...

I personally vote rear steering on it, it would be badass to mess around with

I would rather build a moa rock crawler but I think I will get more use out of a scaler like the wraith.

What's up all.

New to the forum and crawlers. I used to race stadium truck about 20 years ago and got back into RC's last summer.

I should be getting a Wraith kit in the mail soon with all the goodies. I can't wait to build it. Hope to see you guys in the future.

If anyone has any insight on the wraith, let me know.

Got the wraith where I am happy with it, now it's too cold to run it.

The good new is, I'm off on Monday and there may be snow.
