Default Salina Area Crawling

I am in Minneapolis. I think there are probably several decent spots around, but where are some favorites for crawlers around Salina area?
I would think Indian Rock would be ideal, but I havn't been there yet. Any other good places to check out?

If you don't mind the messiness of sandstone, Coronado Heights is a decent spot...

whatcha crawlin with? (What rig...)

I'm in McPherson, and am always looking for more people to crawl with... I've got a scaler that's about done, and an MRC that looks like it will be in my stable soon...

I have a summit. Its a lot of fun, reminds me of wheeling my old full size bronco, its big and heavy and bulky, but it its a lot of fun for me. I have a lot of sandstone in my back yard that the previous owner thought was good for landscaping. I hated it till I got the Summit, now I think its awsome

I really havn't taken it anywhere yet, just played in the back yard. I really want to hit Indian Rock one of these days, but I have pleanty going on right now. Just wondering if there were other guys around here where/when they were running.

I met a guy in Moundridge, I know a guy in Salina, and a guy that lives just outside of Canton... they're decently local... they just work alot, and often overlook the internet...

salina is pretty awful... there are a few bridges with some piled rock, but nothing natural... one is the east crawford bridge next to bill burke park, the other(not as good) is the east iron bridge near the old marymount college... indian rock is good for scalers but not much for 2.2's... here are a couple pics of the crawford bridge location...

Default Check this out!!!

so... its been pretty damn hot out there... and, since, i got plenty of room in the basement, i figured it was time to get to work... only got about a hour in it so far, but after a lil foam and spray on bed liner, and a few logs for naturalism... we should be good to go... this is how i will make it through this heat wave, and still be able to get my fix... lol
