My brother and I are looking for crawlers in Manhattan also. Not alot of time to drive to Salina and other far off places. Would love to find people in our home town who like to crawl.

I live in Topeka and am brand new to crawling! Dee and Mee Hobbies had a small climbing track at the time I bought my Losi Comp Crawler but by the time I got it running they had removed it! I have been going to the Rock Garden at Gage Park the few nice days we have had lately. I have been able to get the feel of my crawler but nothing challenging. From what I hear crawling hasn't caught on around here, but I have had a good time with mine. I have several race cars but got burned out and wanted to try crawling. Is there any where in Manhatten, like tank trails or Pillsbury Crossing suiteable for scale crawling? I thought about calling Russ Briggs and asking him if he might know of any thing! I bought a car from Briggs in Topeka and met him, seems like a nice guy but extreemly busy so don't know if he would take time to talk to me. I realy would like some nice crawling spots. Any Ideas? email me at: budking230@yahoo.com Thanks, Mark Buchmeier |

| ![]() There used to be a place called ecoh cliff that I used to party at years ago, cant remember exactly where though, I wonder if that might have some place to crawl. Ever heard of it? I don't know of any tracks in our area but again, I'm a newbie as well! If you find any good spots let me know! budking230@yahoo.com Mark |

One place we go to is the orv park by the spillway area in Manhattan. Its pretty fun for scalers. And some nice rocky trails. We're probably taking the scale trucks to the konza prarie this Saturday and try that out. Were still looking for a crawl club in this area also.
