| might need to barrow some shop space.....
next weekend is Easter, so it's pretty well out for doing cage work, that leaves one full weekend and a Saturday to get this thing trail ready. not sure i am going to make it up to my parents place this month either so i am in a bind. all i need a work bench, a bench grinder and torch set to get this thing together. most of my tubes are bent, just a matter to drilling, insert the reenforcing rod and brazing them up. anyone local got a work area and tools i can barrow?

I have a workshop at my place with a bench, grinder, vice, mini lathe, drill press, etc. The only torch I have is a single bottle Map torch, which isn't hot enough to braze with. This will give me a reason to get one at Lowes. They're like $60 for a OxyMap Youre welcome to stop by pretty much any time with the exception of Tuesdays (family night). Just give me a heads up. should, i have most of it bent and cut, i can go ahead and do my cross drilling and i am going to use some ready rod to reenforce my joints. should go together pretty fast, chamfering the ends will take the longest i think lol.

I have a line on another rig with a Toyota Hilux body. Should be picking it up Thursday. It's going to be for my daughter.

oh nice, that's the setup i first had my eye on when i wanted to get into the hobby, 300 bucks for the kit turned me off lol. those look great with the F350 body, RC4wd has the bodies for 25 bucks, the chrome is extra, i think you can get it all for around 50 bucks.

It has the yellow Nikko Scorpion body on it. Needs paint and body work though. The body had that huge blower on it and the current owner has patched it, but it still needs work.

not a bad looking body really, detail is decent. i have seen the tundra bodies for those go pretty cheap on ebay.
