Got my batterys in yesterday, and they sent the wrong ones, but in my favor. I ordered Gens Ace 2s 30c 2200mah $12.90 but they sent me 3s 30c 2200mah batterys $22.40. So had to run to Hobby Town USA and buy a CC bec so I can run them in my Wraith. Hope my truck gets here, USPS says monday but with them you never know.

UPS is horrible, i might look at getting out this weekend, got a dirt pile next to the house i like to play on or i might run down by Dauer's and hit the rock pile there, gt my batteries drained so i can get a good charge on them for the next weekend.

indian rock is OK... it gets boring kinda quick tho... the river right next to indian rock has a bit to offer as well tho, nice waterfall section perfect for climbing if the water is not up too much...

below, i have included a link to a portion of my photobucket account that i have made public, so you can see what indian rock, and the river next to it have to offer... there are a few gopro vids(poor quality) and a ton of pics from both locations... (ignore build thread pics)

(Note: pics w/ swimmin suits are from wilson lake... please dont expect to find those sandstone lines up at indian rock... lol)

if your considering coming down for some trailing, i would advise to bring enough battery packs for at least 3-4 hours of wheelin?

cornado can run out fast too, but there are some areas on the east side you guys might like, i can't hit most of the stuff on that side with my mostly stock redcat, but you higher quality rigs might do well.

Got the Wraith in today. just finshed putting the BEC on and the deans plugs, also installed the shock lowering brackets. Running stock 20t motor tell my 35t motor gets here, running 87/14 spur/pinion gear. She is a torque thing.

So are we still going to do somthing saturday?

Docwolf 11-22-2011 06:40 PM

if it is nice out, i will do cornado...

lowboy 11-23-2011 07:26 AM

I watched the weathr last night and there talking high of 46 and windy. Sonds like it will be cold out there.

Docwolf 11-23-2011 11:31 AM

especially up there.....that sux

lowboy 11-23-2011 12:24 PM

Well saturday is now out for me, start a new job saturday. Guess i'll run up to Cornado Heights this afternoon and see whats up there.

Docwolf 11-23-2011 01:12 PM

west side is the best i think, there is some cool spots on teh south east face, but most of that is too tall and loose for my redcat.
