okay, so lets lay this out. it's going to be hot, maybe windy, most likely windy lol. there is an out house....it will be hot... lol drinks are a must, sun screen is a must, bug spray is a must. this will be almost all hill climb, with a lot of good, narrow, trail runs between. we will be up there with other groups, though i am hoping the heat help keep them away. if we do the same format as the last run, we will be up there for the hottest part of the day, we could start later, say around 3 or 4 and run into the evening. that is up to the group at this point, so lets get some discussion on that.

i want to get together with a few of you locals and do at least one scout trip up there to lay out a course, I figure I can go out and put out flags the morning of.

i will start putting together a flyer, hope to have it done monday so we need to settle on times by then.

I haven't found many good hill climb areas but I know of quite a few areas for a gated trail that can be fairly long and have quite a few spots that are technical. Some of the videos on Facebook are from those spots.

gated in what i meant, true hill climb spots are limited up there. how far down the hill have you gone?

I doubt that old man to the north would let anyone access his land he has cattle but they come up under the trees and keep the foliage down. He was not happy at me when I was caught fishing his pond when I was a teenager.

I would believe it would be a no I know who owns the pasture to the east vaguely but I doubt any land owner around cornado would be game for it. We have land in the area and put up with enough BS without inviting people onto it.

I know some of the land owners vaguely, and I know some of them more than vaguely. I am pretty sure they would be against anyone being on their property just because of vandalism and people not respecting any ones property. So that's why they wouldn't be down for it in my opinion. Best to stay off unless you have permission.

Oh cool. So me and my friend will come down for sure on the 7th. We will have hopefully four trucks. 3 scx10's and a tamiya f350. I just need to know exactly where everyone is going to meet up at in coronado heights. Thanks.
