I say move the tread up into the boarders of the state and that would make a great fender badge.

OK, guys and gals. Her is the skinny on where we are setting with getting this club on the move. We need to come up with a logo to use so I can get a quote for our stickers and towels. I was talking to a printer here in Mac and they seem to have decent prices and if we can keep our business local, I think we should.

Greg has a good idea with the logo above and Shawn had some good ideas, so I kind of combined them in to this

So we will need to have a meeting next weekend to come up with a final draft on our artwork. As soon as we do, I can get some actual estimates.

Also is someone has Illustrator or another program to convert our final artwork into Vector, let me know. That is going to save us some $ on the set-up fees. Let's get this ball rolling again. It's been burried under Turkey and Christmas presents for too long.

I have to say i really like what Greg has going there, colors and all. maybe move the letters and words down to center, then put another set of tracks across the top....

I think that would make it too busy. I vote for Gregg's design

I like this logo really well, my only concern is if you shrink it down is the small text going to continue to be readable.

I've also got Illustrator and would be willing to make the logo into a vector format if need be.

I think with some small .5"X1" stickers, we would leave the small text off. Although with them in Vector, you should be able to read them with a magnifier

I will definately hit you up for the vector conversion. Thanks for offering.

My idea is fine, but I also like Brian's idea... it looks more "professional"

I unfortunately don't have Illustrator, so I can't offer to put anything in Vector...

What if ya flipped the size of the tire track and letters and have the tracks go across the letters? I know I'm not involved but just an observation.

I like where the idea of the tread going across to font is going, but the reason that I put it behind was so you could read the font. I didn't want it to get lost in the different line of the individual tread shapes.

I think there is a very good chance of losing the text if you move the tread in front of it. The thing to keep in mind is what is the most important part of the logo. This should be the most prominent and everything else should enhance that part.

One way the tread could cut through the letters is to color the tread the same color as the text as it's going through and leave the area's between the tread white this would really show the tread and I think keep the letters visible. I hope this makes sense.

Right now the tread is taller than the letters. If the letters were taller and the tread shorter it would read fine. Just my opinion........I actually would be satisfied with any of them.

Thanks for the offer, but I have one of our local guys already volunteered to do the vector conversion for us.
