Got a little more done on the trailer. The overhead shelves and workbench is in, and the dash is starting to take shape. A few more pics:

That head unit looks ace! I think I'm going to enjoy wrenching in there... or drinking beer in there... or both... yeah, both

I picked up the roof rack from the weld shop today, it's a helluva lot bigger than I had imagined. Now I just need to assemble the hinges and latches, then throw on some paint. I'll snap some pics tomorrow.

Once the rack is mounted, I can start working on the solar charging system. Not sure how much of this will be done before Goat Hill, June 1st will be here before I know it!

Haven't updated this in a while. I kept going back and forth between diamond plate and expanded metal to cover the rack, and finally settled on expanded metal. Picked up 3 sheets at Salina Steel, and got it tacked in place. My welding skills suck, good thing someone invented grinders! Here is the top half, still needing cleaned up, primed and painted:

And a few test fitting the bottom half:

Hoping to have the rack on by Topeka... can someone please make it stop raining long enough for me to finish painting this stupid thing?!?

You just need to quit being so cheap and build a paint booth in your back back yard, so we can all come over and paint our junk. That way you don't have to worry abouth the weather.

Looks good.
