How does June 29 or 30 work for people making a trip to T-Town? I chatted with the local hobby shop owner and he said he could provide trophies so this may end up a little larger than I had envisioned it. When the rain stops I am going to scout out a few more locations in town to try to get a superb spot. So June 29 or 30 work for folks? If that doesn't work out then I would consider something in July. Once August comes around my work schedule gets a bit prohibitive of organizing anything other than work events. |

As long as Wheat Harvest is over we'll be there. Last year was early but this year who knows? Once harvest starts we'll be working straight through until its done.

That is getting pretty close to the babies due date, I would say I would not be able to make it. Sent from my RM-845_nam_vzw_100 using Board Express |

I have NOTHING to do. EVER. But I vote for July... ![]() A "large" event would be badass, and I truly think that you an pull it off ![]() |

Another option is June 16 if that would work better.

That is right in the middle of wheat harvest, mid July would work better. This is kind of why activity falls off in June and July, along with the heat. we have two events lining up for the end of August, these are looking to be Camping trips. With the distance and the number of people who would have to drive it, maybe a camping event would be best. August has 5 weekends and we can flow over into the first part of September. I would like to space camping events out with a open weekend between. Nothing is on the calendar yet so it is first come first serve. Of course if your schedule is going to be stacked with work then this can't be done. Just food for thought. Sent from my RM-845_nam_vzw_100 using Board Express |

I appreciate the input. Us city folk don't know much about harvest time. Aug 4 would be about the only time I could do something that month. Work has me tied up most weekends. The end of May - June/July is my downtime. |

August 3rd/4th could work for me, that would leave the weekends of the 17th and 31st open for other camping events. Even in to September should work if that would be easier on you. For August we could do a over night the 3rd and crawl on the 4th. Early to mid spring and late summer to early fall work the best for most in the farming community and a large portion of the club are made up of either farmers or Ag support individuals. for me this year the only thing holding me back is the baby coming in early July.

I have an event on the evening of the 3rd at work I need to be available for so I can't really commit to any camping. There are plenty of places one can camp here in/out or out of town for minimal fees if one is so inclined. It could make for a decent fishing/camping/crawling road trip if done right though. What do everyone else think of the Aug 4 date? That is actually a great week for me to do it. No events up until that Saturday so I would have plenty of time to do course work.

3 to 4 trucks from the River Runners will be there if this helps.

OK! I'll start the ball rolling then. Gofaster427 got a sneak peek at the spots I am leaning toward last week but I still have one or two other places I haven't been to scope out before I make my decision.

Will do. It's been raining lately and I will check it out after I can get back in there when the ground dries up.
