I just got my Rustler going (I think I mentioned that... not sure). It's currently brushed on 2s, so it's not exactly a "go-fast", but it goes!

I am considering a rally type of event on a small track covering multiple types of terrain... concrete, rock, dirt, and such. It would be a social event followed by some trail riding and crawling at the same spot as the last TORRCC event. Drivers would be required to do some walking/jogging/ behind their go fast rig as it transitions from one surface to the next.

Look up RC rally on youtube and you will get a feel for what I am considering attempting. I'm still not 100 percent sure this is what I'm going to do though.

What do you folks think?

Of course it would be an open class, run what you bring event and not limited to rally style chassis/ bodies.

Touche! I love the "run whatcha brung" idea! Though, it kinda makes me want a rally car...

I think I'll make it official. I will start another thread at some point today with the description and all that. Someone bring a go fast rig for Docwolf.

I did get the 35t for the bronco and the lower axel housing for the MOA so I will at least have my own crawlers.

I have that TH rear axel and front a-arms, I keep thinking I should make something out of those though I have been thinking about making a 1/6 rat rod for crawling the grounds at the car show next year

***note:**** That is the weekend of Hyllingsfest here in Lindsborg (4th and 5th), we are going to be participating in the event this year with a booth for the PC repair business, not sure I will be up to anything on Sunday. put me down as tentative but don't count on me.

I'm in. I think the Twin Hammers would work nicely for the rally event.

With your brushless setup it probably will.

I may ask people to keep time with their cel phone's stopwatch as much as possible. Or at least have it available to me so I can run multiple vehicles at once. I won't have many timers available as it sits now.
