Monthly Coronado Social Crawl Sunday

The MKRCRC Club will be hosting Monthly crawls. These are to be informal, non comp, afternoon get togethers. Excuses to get out of the house and just have fun.

The dates are not be set in stone and could change, we would like to make the details as consistent as possible to insure everyone can plan ahead if they like. This will not include what I refer to as "hosted events" but will probably be used as prep for such events. Future "hosted events" will be scheduled at a later date.

Currently the Social crawls are scheduled for the First Sunday of each month @ Coronado, starting at 1P.M.

here are s few guide lines i have thought up on the fly.....

1. Social events are second to Hosted events, in that if the date of a Social event is claimed for a Hosted event, the social is automatically rescheduled (unless there is a group not planning on attending the Hosted event, but that still want to crawl)

2. Social events will always be at Coronado, alternate locations will be treated as a hosted event. (see rule number 1)

3. If a Social date is claimed for a Hosted event, and no other hosted events are scheduled for the month, the Following Sunday becomes the new social crawl for that month, but is still subject to these guidelines.


how does that sound? the idea here to always have at least one day for crawling.

Ok, trying something different. I am creating the events under the RC scalers of Kansas Facebook page and then syncing them to the Google calendar through my Facebook calendar. Takes a lot of work out but not sure it is updating right. There should be three events but only shows so far.

I too think it's a good idea! As long as I have a few weeks notice I should be able to get off of work to attend. Unlike some other comps and such that wouldn't really fit my schedule.

I've kinda been outta the game for a few months but the opportunity to start crawlin again would be awesome!

Just a heads up, our First monthly Crawl is coming on March second. There is a chance I will be a little late as i will have the 5 year old, if she didn't get excited so easily and had better balance i would just bring her along. Once Mom gets home i will be up there.

Sounds great to be getting together and doing some trails and stuff. Looking forward to it. Is there anybody here in Salina or near that has a novak link to program esc's and such. I am needing to figure out my Novak Goat 3s esc. Not sure which profile its set to, but I dont have any drag brake, and it just seems off overall. It should have more umph to it. Doesnt overheat or anything super bad. Just needing to find a way to get it programmed I think. Thanks in advance! let me know please!

looks like we are a go for the 16th, partly cloudy, 54 and 11MPH wind (projected) we can stay down out the wind most of the time though, I am sure.
