Gardner here, but currently on Sabbatical in the Himalayas.

Been into RC off and on for years starting with an original RC10 and Ultima II and working my way through various stadium trucks, buggies and onroad stuff. I'm thinking I need to get a crawler to help pass some of the time here and take advantage of some of the varied terrain I've got to play with.

I am in Minneapolis, we just got a new hobby shop in town, so we can blame them for my new addiction!

Minneapolis, Ks has a hobby shop!?!?!?

Dogbones & Lowboy, look me up on here and maybe we can gtg and hang out or chat more. I've got a couple of friends in the McP area and a friend here in Salina that crawl. My personal rig is still in the construction stage due to my stupid job, but it's getting closer. I've also got a 1:1 I'm trying to fix, too.

Still a roller in progress. There are a few things I would like to have before it's drive-able. Paychecks are running a little short after bills, so it's taking a little longer AND I want to get the 1:1 fixed, too. So it might be a little longer yet. I HAVE however started on the back yard, so when I finish knocking things down and get a chipper shredder we can have a rock stacking party. I might even feed the helpers, hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

I wanted to say hey. I am outside of Lawrence. I travel to Salina and Manhattan for work a few times a month. I am new to RC's, I have only had mine for about three weeks (Axial AX10 RTC). I have already started tweaking it, I have the parts ordered to 4 link it.
Look forward to learning from the information here.

Default New to Kansas

I am in the Army and I am suppose to move to Ft Riley Kansas in July 2012. I am just checking out the forum trying to figure out where to crawl when I get there. If any of you guys in the Ft Riley area are still trying to get a group together next summer I will be in. I hope to meet some of you guys then.

Jungle Man:
I know this will get lost by that time but there is a great hobby shop just outside the East gate( I think). Its on 7th street in Junction City.
Never had my scaler with me when im there but there are tons of cool spots in and around Riley.

I moved up from Andover to Mac last May. New to crawlers, but not RC's

I have a Wraith and my daughter has a ECX Smash that we put a 3800 KV BL sytem in. That's gotta be the fastest Smash around.
