I'm new to the area and to RC, so I haven't spent much time looking for good crawling terrain yet. I have an area on my property that has a creek, rocks and hills. It has been fun so far.

So I went to dons hobby shop here in Salina and it turns out old man don is retired and the place is run by a younger guy he told me he is making a point of taking care of walk ins I ordered some bearings should be in on Monday or Tuesday. He said he has horizon and great plains as vendors and getting some more vendors. I am hoping this guy isn't a bullshitter that would make my day to have a decent hobby shop in town.

I hit up Don's Saturday, Dustin wasn't there, he was out at some fly boy event, but i talked with his wife. Very nice women, defiantly a whole different feel to the store from when the Old man was running it, noticed they moved the counter, really like it now. I was looking for styrene, no one around here seems to know what it is, which i can understand, i had no clue till i got into this hobby (could have used that stuff when i was doing 1:24 resin kits), but i explained it to her and she said she would talk with Dustin and see about caring it. they are still mostly a air shop, but they are very willing to open up to us car guys like Shane said, nice to have a good LHS in our area now and i look forward t spending more time there .

Hey guys I'm Brandon. I'm in Salina too. I've been into Don's a few times myself not been impressed myself I've been having to drive to Junction City or Wichita, been actually thinkin bout opening up a whole focused on trucks cars and boats. Just not been to sure if I'd be able to make it work or not.
