Sounds like you need duck tape and beer, fast! But really if you need any help finding another before the comp, I have a servo saver that should fit (came off a Hitec HS625MG) that you can have.

I can handle the chalk, there's 4 kids here so we have PLENTY It's just the ball thing that I'm out of (I dont have competitions with myself on a reguler basis ). I'll bitch at Brad to print us some score sheets.

Jason I have a feeling anything would help, believe me when I say that we could set up a coarse that would take a hour to get over if we need

Just another thought, but what about rules? I vote we keep it simple like this:

50 points per each gate
10 point reduction for roleovers, repositions or hitting a gate
20 point reduction if you cant make a gate

Deffinition for making (or not) a gate:
All four tires go beyond the gate at some point, if it is determined that the truck cannot make it threw the gate then the driver can reposition his truck directly between the gate for a 20 point reduction.

Deffinition for roleover:
All four tires leave the ground and the trucks roof (or top of vehical) hits the ground, in the event of this the truck will be repositioned.

Deffinition of reposition:
Truck becomes incopasitated (stuck) or roles over, in the event of this the truck may be moved one truck leangth behind the point it became incipacitated or any distance in between. This is unless it cannot make a gate, in that case you may reposition directly between the gate.

I appreciate the offer! Right now I don't think I need it, tho. The servo came with a few arms and a big wheel looking thing, I'm using one of the extra arms now and plan to cut down one of the others to use as a spare. It would suck to drive halfway across my state and into another only to break after five minutes of playing around!

How does a guy with 4 kids not have any balls?

I'll grab a box or two and send'm through the band saw or something.

Regarding the rules, what if a rig rolls over, but back onto its wheels and doesn't need to be repositioned?

And...could you pm me a phone number so I can get in touch with you once I reach town?

Also, if anyone is up for trading, bring stuff.

NP CSR, I'll bring it anywho just in case your a really bad drive or I break something

Jason I don't have four kids, the folks do, I'm just along for the ride But anywho I'll do you one better on the phone number:

(270)-934-3971 is my home phone, I'll have to check and see what the cell number is (it's not mine). I'll be gone all of Saterday to the Hot Rod reunion in Louisville Ky but you should be able to reach me Friday and Sunday. If you guys think it might be a problem getting to Green River I could send you all my addy and we could meet at my house and just convoy over there (I live in between Morgantown and Rocheaster).

And hey, if you can stick it what's the point in repositioning after a role? Besides it might make for some interesting driving tactics

Rubber baby buggy bumpers!

You can use the beetle bod all you want but remeber your right beside what was once one of the deepest rivers in the U.S.

Okay pic time!

This is the sign you should look for,
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/e317269b.jpg

This is the parking lot you should pull into,
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/ca142132.jpg

This is the area I didnt get to look at last time-I think it would be alot better for a competition....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/DSC03266.jpg

A neat little ledge that might be fun for those of you who have the waylows
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/DSC03324.jpg

Deffinate finnal obsitcal material here....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/DSC03277.jpg

A good place for another coarse, it starts off easy and gets harder once you pass where Brad is standing.

Cool spot for sure.

What about this "Stairway to Heaven" obstacle?

Will a rig fit in it?

Man, I just put 350 BB's in each of my front tires! 8O Maybe I can duct tape a big beach ball to the body to keep the truck from sinking.

That looks like a very cool place to crawl!

I like the sound they make rolling around inside the tires That's why people put BB's in their tires, right?

The difference the BB's made with my rig was significant. I have a spot set up in my carport to test my rigs climbing ability (my lawn mower ). Stock, I could get the front tires up on the deck, but that's as far as I could go. I lowered the battery tray and that dropped the COG enough for me to get both axles up on the deck. Added a little over 1/4 pound of BB's to each of the front tires and now I can almost put a front tire in the lawnmower seat!

I put some BBs in a crawler I did for the upcoming issue of RC Driver.

Noticed an improvement, but I think 1/2 lb is overkill.

It's too bad that a clod/Jugg won't fit in that spot, that'd be just flat cool to crawl on.

Hah thats like putting my TLT in the tires Damn I need a bigger truck!

I dont think I'm going to try it on the TLT yet, I can nearly stand it verticly against a wall without it falling over as it is (not braging or anything, I know I'm going to get my crap handed to me ) thanks the limmiting straps and all of my electronics being mounted on the axles, well besides the motor and battery.

The Scorpion made it back from John Boyer today.

I started to prime it but instead I just laid down paint.

I'm not sure if it'll be done or not for this weekend...it'd take several hours to get together and running.

Maybe I'll just bring it as a rolling chassis.

So is there a final count to how many people are coming? Looks like I'm in, just not with the Boyer Chassis.

I'm heading out tomorrow around 5am. Figure I'll make my way up there, recon the area and find a spot to stay.

I'm bringing a clod and a rolling boyer tuber.

I'm in! I'm bringing a stock-ish TXT-1. I'm gonna try to be up there early Sunday morning. I'll be driving a dark blue Ford F150 SuperCrew, if you see me driving around like I'm lost then flag me down! Time to get this thing dirty and scratch up the new body!
