I got a riding buddy that does trails here in BG! Says there is 100+ acres with rocks everywhere. I haven't found the exact location. I don't really know of any places personally.

Me and SLHawkins77 are down for a GTG for sure. Seems like somewhere near Barren lake would be a good central location for everyone to crawl. |

Whatever guys! I'm just itching to get out, I may head out this weekend and look around. Wasn't there a comp held in Glasgow at a State Park? It was a long time ago but it was in a rc mag, I may stilll have it. |

Well I saw your post on CKRCRC! I responded on there, but if you look here first. I found out that the gtg I saw in the mag was in Rochester KY a.k.a. Green River. Sorry!

Doh, me and SLHawkins77 both work 11pm-7am M-F. So from Friday morning til Sunday night we can crawl. Granted I need some time to coordinate (ask permission) with the warden ( my wife) |

the comp at laurel lake is about 45 min to an hour from somerset. It's a great place if you guys can't find another location. The road trip is part of the fun.

From the bg laurel lake is actually only 3 hours tops and that is driving the speed limit. I use to go to wku and drive from somerset and get their in 1:30 but I was kinda flying. You can get to laurel lake from somerset in about 45 or a bit less so it really isn't that far. Depending how fast you drive |

Yeah guys, it's gonna be a fun comp. There are tons of spots to crawl at Laurel If we have enough people bring scalers, I'm going to setup a scaler course or 3 and have a comp out of that too. Sign up thread is here: CKYC Comp Signup Last edited by HomerJ; 10-30-2009 at 12:02 PM. |
