Default Laurel Lake Spillway, Saturday Oct. 22 9:30 am

A few of us are gonna head down to the spillway at Holly Bay Saturday October 22nd at 9:30am. We have scaler trucks, just mainly going down there to play around. No organized comp or nothing....

If you've got a crawler, scaler, or whichever just head on down to hang out or something.

I'll have my scx10 or Wraith... whichever is going by then, and my buddy will have his scx10.

What road is that off of down there? The spillway that is. I live in Frankfort now and would like to take a trip down to that area before the weather gets nasty.

Gives us a little more crawl time getting there early, plus I have plans for that evening. So far there is four of us with rigs that will be there, maybe 5. So if you can make it down, it would be great. There isn't too many around here, that we know of.....

My ax10 took a pretty bad roll yesterday and snapped the housing parts are ordered but I have the comp rig so I should have something to run with. If nothing else I have the hacked up redcat.

I broke a plastic C on my truck couple weeks ago, as well as a dogbone axle... again.

Does Tyrod have any crawlers anymore? Or is he out for good?

I think tyrod still has the redcat don't know if he's interested in bashing with us or not.
I broke the rear axle housing where the lockouts slide on just upgraded to aluminum c-hubs knuckles and lockouts. I got it pieced together with one good half of the housing and one broke half. I am going to try to put a small piece of steel tubing inside the newhousing to bridge the place where the housing necks down. Its usually not a problem unless I roll it hard.

Not really, there are some spots where water puddles are on the rocks. There are plenty of places to drive tho, so no worries.... unless you drive in the sand.

We'll I am still in but could care less about the comp scene. If you feel like bashing on the redcat or something I'll be around I ain't judging no one for getting out I think we all spent a lot of money in a short period of time and accomplished very little if anything. To me the comp thing took alot of the fun out of crawling. After all there just toys.
