| The Pewee Valley compound
Hey gang, I'm currently setting up a crawling/trailing loop at my house in Pewee Valley that I'll be having some ride days on. I'll post here on days that my friends and I plan to run, anyone is welcome. The current loop that I have takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes with my slightly modified Wraith. This loop only represents about 1/4 of my property that I have to work with so this can end up being a several hour loop when all is said and done. The area that I haven't started on yet has some very steep hills and 2 waterfalls as well as several rock ridges. Here is a sequence of shots that shows some of the more challenging sections of the current loop. In this section, you'll drive from the left to the right along the lower ridge. It then takes a left turn and up to the second level where you go back to the left. This upper level will be a big rock pile crawl section. Two lines here, right (steep climb) or left (offcamber climb) And down the Sluice... This is a very STEEP climb! With a gap near the top... Rough climb to the top of a 3' ledge... The drop! Step down... Small waterfall... The squeeze... Last edited by Jeff@TireBalls; 12-21-2013 at 07:43 PM. |

I got a lot more work done to this section yesterday. Added a crawl section to this spot. Before... After... And added in this ledge run... The climb up... Drive along the ledge... Lots of holes, bumps and offcambers... And the climb up and off the ledge... |

Thanks, making it is almost as much fun as driving it. LOL With all the rain that's coming this weekend, it should wash most of the loose dirt and mud off the rocks. |

I've been working on the compound over the holidays. Built a 4' long bridge over a 3' drop... And some more crawling sections... Tight climb under a rock ledge then across a gap... |

Looks cool man . I would like to come out when you have some people there . Ive been looking for somewhere to crawl with other people . I live in Bullitt co and there is no one that I know into rc . I have a scx10 and I got a wraith for my son . We go to falls of the ohio sometimes when Indiana scale rc s are there but other then that we trail alone
