| Doulbe Duty crawler/scaler
Hey guys we are starting a new class in our pulling organization https://sites.google.com/site/centralkyrcpullers/ Trying to get some of the crawlers and scaler trucks involved this winter , we have a indoor winter points pull series in Etown ky , Here are the rules Work Stock 4 x 4 Motor: 37 mm x 57 mm can size brushed or brushless Limited to ONE. Battery: 7-cell sub-C (8.4 volt) or 2-cell Lipo (7.4V Nominal MAX) Chassis: Any FACTORY PRODUCTION Automotive Style, Ladder Frame Chassis, made from aluminum, steel or plastic. Suspention: Any style front and rear suspention permitted (leaf spring, coil, or torsion type). Rear suspention can be locked or rigidly mounted. Transmission: Any FACTORY PRODUCTION transmission permitted. NO scratch-built transmissions. Axles: Any scale appearing solid drive axles. Weight: 8.5 pounds MAX. All non-scale appearing weights must be out of sight from normal view. Weight boxes are permitted. Weights may not exceed 6” from the center of the front axle forward. Dimensions: Maximum over all length NOT to exceed 22”. Maximum Wheelbase 12-1/2” Overall width NOT to exceed 12-1/2”. Weight box or front weights not to exceed 6” from the centerline of the front axle to the furthest point forward. Hitch: 2-1/2” maximum hitch height. The rear edge of the hitch hole is to be no less than 2-1/2” from the centerline of the rear axle. Must meet all other NR/CTPA hitch rules. Tires: Any street DOT style tire permitted. Tires to be maximum of 1.62”” wide and 4.5” diameter. NO agricultural “V” treaded tires. Tires CANNOT be sharpened. Dual wheels are permitted on rear only. Any 1.9 wheels may be used. Body: Shall represent a street licensed diesel pick-up, as you would see pulling at a local fair. In a general term you could just make the rear end solid and add some weights up front , Im posting a pic of my truck and the details This has the axial frame with wraith axles the trans and transfer is from RC4WD |
